By age six, Sara had already written her first short story—it was primarily illegible scribbles, but her parents swear it could have been the next literary classic. Since then, her joy for storytelling has grown to an insatiable passion. After receiving Bachelor’s degrees in Strategic Communications and Creative Writing from Ohio University, Sara worked and supported clients in various industries—from social media marketing to animal advocacy and healthcare, to sustainability and data for impact. Prior to pursuing full-time consulting, Sara served as Communications Manager for data.org and as the Digital Marketing Senior Specialist for Austin Pets Alive!.

Sara holds a Master’s in Organizational Communication from Ohio University and specializes in numerous marketing and communications competencies, including behavior analysis and conflict management. She is a 2023 Anthem Awards Silver Award winner for data.org‘s marketing campaign on gender data, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and the proud mom of a red heeler-lab mix named Holly. 

Depending on the night, Sara’s go-to karaoke song is either Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift or Sugar, We’re Goin Down by Fall Out Boy.
